Writing a Business Plan

A good business plan is the key to getting your business started and maintaining it profitable. Remember, your business plan is a live document, and should be followed daily. The business plan usually begins with an Executive Summary which looks at your goals and your company in general. You are selling your company and yourself in this summary. This is followed by a Company Description of the market you serve, the Market Analysis, Organization and Management, Product Line, Sales Strategy, Funding Request, and Projections. You may want to add an Appendix to include business documents, like leases, etc.
